However, Google Cloud offers some pretty compelling deals too: If you’re willing to pay upfront instead of using their pay-as-you-go plans (which charge by the minute), they can offer up to 50% off those same resources!
In addition to the base price, both AWS and Google Cloud Platform have additional fees. These are not included in their base prices and are only charged when you use certain services or resources. For example, if you want to take advantage of auto-scaling on AWS, then your bill will increase by $0.0075 per hour per instance (with a minimum charge of $1).
In contrast, both platforms offer free tiers that allow users limited access to some features with no cost whatsoever–and those free tiers are pretty comparable across both companies’ offerings. The catch is that these free tiers don’t come close to allowing customers to get real work done; they’re really just meant for testing out new technologies before committing any money at all!
